Rotary Foundation Committee

The Mission of the Rotary Foundation is to support the efforts of Rotary International in fulfilment of the Object of Rotary, Rotary’s mission and the achievement of World understanding and peace through local, national and international humanitarian, educational and cultural support programs. The Foundation relies on the enthusiastic support of Rotarians voluntarily giving generously of their time and money, and has become one of the foremost non-governmental foundations in the world. It is said that every minute of every day Rotary will touch the lives of millions somewhere in the world. The Rotary Foundation is one of the world’s leading charitable foundations and each Rotarian can be justly proud of its achievements in the past, present and in the future.

Membership (Club) Service

Club Service focuses on strengthening fellowship and ensuring the effective functioning of the club.

Community and Vocational Service

Community and Vocational Service covers the projects and activities the club undertakes to improve life in its community.

International Service

International Service encompasses actions taken to expand Rotary's humanitarian reach around the globe and to promote world understanding and peace.

Youth Opportunities Committee &
RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award)

The committee seeks to raise the awareness of Rotarians, young men and women and those that work with young people, of the rich opportunities offered to promote community service, facilitate greater international understanding; identify and develop the leaders of tomorrow; recognise and celebrate the achievements of young people through Interact clubs, the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA), Youth Exchange and a range of cultural and sporting activities: actively facilitate the promotion of the wide range of Youth Opportunities to enable young people of all ages to enjoy the challenges offered and to develop strong bonds of friendship with other participants; and develop a regular and on-going dialogue with young men and women to help them to articulate and realise their hopes, dreams and expectations.
